RAVEN is the enebular-edge-agent reference board.

Mounted network function and four I/O connecters on small body. And easy to connect to enebular.

You can use various functions such as execution of flow by enebular-edge-agent. Learn more -> Introduction.

Purchase Method

  1. After signing up for enebular, click "Purchase RAVEN" from the menu displayed by clicking on the user name. The RAVEN purchase form will be displayed *1
  2. Fill in the RAVEN purchase form and press the Submit button
  3. A quotation will be sent to you by Uhuru
  4. Please make a payment to the transfer destination described in the quotation
  5. After confirmation of payment, RAVEN will be shipped to your shipping address.
  6. Use RAVEN. Please refer to Getting Started for the initial setup.

*1 You need at least one project of enebular to purchase RAVEN. Please refer to Introduction for how to create a project.

Preparation

In order to use RAVEN, the following preparation is necessary.

  • A PC with one or more USB-A terminals or an AC adapter
    • Supplies 5V / 0.5A or more
  • A network module
    • Use 2.4GHz band
    • IEEE 802.11 b/g/n
  • Sensors and actuator you want to connect to Port
    • Commercially available sensors and actuators can be used
    • 3.3V, ADC/UART/I2C/PWM/GPIO interface (Supports up to 200 mA total for 4 ports) *1

    • There are restrictions on the combination of available interfaces.

*1 The interfaces that can be set from the node in flow editor are limited to ADC / GPIO and part I2C. For details, please see the explanation of each node.

Initial Settings(#initialsetting)

It is the procedure of wireless LAN setting.

  • Activate RAVEN in Setting Mode. If USER SW is being pressed when setup is over, the power is turned on in "Setting Mode". The following method is easy.

    1. Power on RAVEN
    2. Push RESET SW and immediately hold down USER SW.
    3. Hold USER SW until USER LED light red
    4. Even after released from USER SW, confirm to remain lit USER LED in red
    5. RAVEN is started with Setting Mode
  • Use enebular Reference Board Configuration Tool to set up SSID and password. Refer to** Configuration.
  • Please restart after setting.
    • The USER LED blinks on and off approximately every 0.1 seconds during connecting to a wireless LAN. *1
      • The USER LED turns off when it has established a wireless LAN connection.
      • If the USER LED continues to blink and RAVEN doesn't connect to a wireless LAN network, check below:
        • Is it available for the wireless LAN network environment?
        • Is the correct SSID and password set to RAVEN?

*1 It's available after the release enebular-edge-agent 1.3.0. Before the version , the USER LED remains turning off. See here to get enebular-edge-agent version.

  • Do not erase, remove or damage the markings attached to this product.
